October 11-15th
Mrs. Wallace's students are completing regular and irregular verb usages in their workbooks. They are also starting on an essay concerning a conflict in The Outsiders. Students should have the skeleton ready to be checked on Thursday. We will continue to perfect this writing through Friday.
Students are working on WWW list 9 and DOL sentences 9. All students should be reading for AR points this week. I will not assign another book until the week of the 18th. My students are not doing very well with their reading. So far, we have ZERO students who have attained the AR party. There are many 6th and 7th graders. We will be working on grammar, writing, and reading skills in class. I will allow students time to read for AR points as homework. Please check agendas daily for grades and upcoming assignments.
